My Grandmother…

When I was a small boy and grew up I spent my times in Hamburg, Germany. My grandmother and I went every Sunday with the glass bottles to the recycle bins. I didn’t understand it then, but it shaped my values on such a trivial thing, what we do with a glass bottle and on how we should live.

She is still alive today, she is born 1916 and have lived both in the pre-mass consumption era, during the mass consumption era,
and will not probably be around to live during the post-mass consumption era that we are about to enter. My belief is though that
values and behaviors that where around in the pre-mass consumtion era will to some parts come back…
